Philosophy Behind Victory Arms

You cannot simply learn a specific set of rules or laws and scenarios, then apply half a dozen different movesets to complete a formulaic approach to self-defense.

That is just not how it works.

Everything is so varied and nuanced when it comes to defense of self or others that it takes an individual the ability to think for themselves to navigate.

"Man cannot enquire either about that which he knows, or about that which he does not know; for if he knows, he has no need to enquire; and if not, he cannot; for he does not know the very subject about which he is to enquire."

There will be always new laws, new obstacles, new challenges, new technology. Thus, learning how to think is the ultimate goal one should strive towards. I do my upmost to ensure that students ask questions and understand the material at hand because ultimately their livelihoods could be at stake.
